WHAT TO EXPECT

A specialized handpiece emits laser light energy pulses to the pigment in your visible veins during the treatment session, damaging them. Once these veins can no longer carry blood, the blood reroutes to other, healthier veins in the area. Over time, the treated veins die and are absorbed into the body as waste. In the case of vascular lesions, the laser pulses break up pigment so that the body can absorb it. The length of your treatment session will depend on the size of the treatment areas and how many areas will be treated. However, treating a single vein can only take a few seconds. After treatment, you can return home.
