ABOUT FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

Fullness under the chin sometimes referred to as “double chin”, is a common facial aesthetic concern that can affect a broad range of adults, both men and women. In some cases, no matter how much you diet or exercise, the fullness in this area may not go away. It can give you an older and heavier appearance. These injections are the first and only Health Canada-approved injectable treatment for the improvement of the appearance of fullness in the jawline. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Deoxycholic acid targets and eliminates fat cells when injected into the area under your chin, it gradually improves the appearance of your chin profile over a number of treatment sessions. Once you've reached your desired results, re-treatment may not be needed!
