IPL Photorejuvenation is an effective treatment for:

WHAT TO EXPECT

IPL is known as Intense Pulsed Light. IPL has many benefits which make it one of our most popular treatments because it gives an instant boost to the skin. The skin looks more vibrant, radiant, and rejuvenated.

The three main targets are reds, browns, and collagen.

These light-based technologies are unlike lasers, which go deeper into the skin. IPL can effectively target various superficial skin concerns at once. Targets include brown pigment (freckles, age spots, sunspots, liver spots) and redness (vessels, veins, flushing, rosacea, couperose, “broken capillaries”, spider veins, cherry angiomas, mottled skin, and uneven skin tone).

Collagen is also stimulated in an IPL treatment, which helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as gives the skin a “healthy glow”. This effect is known as Photorejuvenation.

IPL Photorejuvenation can be used anywhere on the face or body and several areas can be treated in the same treatment session. It is very fast, efficient and comfortable treatment. IPL is better suited for fair-skinned clients versus clients with a darker skin type or tan. Clients will often send their friends who notice and comment on their “glowing skin”.
