Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently "shave" the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). Add this service on to any facial for a wow-factor difference. Reveal a glow like you’ve never seen before!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Dermaplaning is a specialized treatment that removes dead skin cells and vellus hair, also known as ‘peach fuzz’, by utilizing a tool that essentially exfoliates the surface layer of skin. This treatment is an effective pairing with microdermabrasion and laser treatments for an even more enhanced result.

You will also notice a significant improvement of smoother makeup application given the face’s smooth, soft texture after the treatment.

Some of the many benefits of Dermaplaning include:

  • Promoting normal shedding of the outer layer of skin (stratum corneum)

  • Increasing skin’s capacity to absorb skincare products more effectively

  • Stimulating circulation

  • Improving hydration

  • Improved skin surface for makeup application

  • Smooth, radiant skin
